As I was playing around with Java Script, day was turning into night and night into day. I had so much fun simply creating a little house, clouds, trees, cars, etc. all with shapes and commands. I was excited and quickly fell in love with it. For a week straight I would code at home, at work, at red lights (I wouldn’t recommend doing this guys)Then,I hit a wall and I started to question how playing with these shapes and doing the snowman challenge would help me create apps and websites. So I run back to my mentor and that’s when I was directed to learn, HTML5 and CSS3. Once again I was charged with excitement as I embarked on this journey to simply learn and grow. That brings us to today. From using khan academy, free code camp, codepen, GitHub and YouTube, I started learning proper syntax and expanded my knowledge of the different languages and environments. That desire to make tons of money never left but now the desire is fueled by a passion and a genuine love for coding and learning.
You guys probably read all about me and are now wondering, now what? What will all of those months of sleeping at 4 and 5am and waking up for work 3-4 hours later accomplish for you? What do you plan on doing with the knowledge that you’ve obtained coding? Well, simply put, I want to do it all. I want to create amazing websites and bring great innovative ideas and help bring the idea of plain websites and turn them into live, animated and colorful works of art. I want to create fun games that people can lose hours of the day playing. I want to create apps on android and iOS ranging from games to different interactive ideas. I want to create a new social media app that will revolutionize the idea of collaborating with your peers. Who knows, maybe one day create my own developer based company. For now, I want to continue to play with atom and learn different languages and environments. I would love to work at being a full-stack web developer with style. The world is headed toward computers and the web faster than ever before and I want to meet that new day head on.
